DMCA & Copyright Notices
We respect copyright and respond to valid notices. SSVID does not host a media library — it converts a link you supply and serves a temporary file that auto-deletes. Still, if you believe the service is being used to infringe your rights, you can ask us to block specific content.
How to send a notice. Email us at dmca@ssvid.net with:
- Your contact details and the rights holder you represent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- The specific YouTube URL(s) / video ID(s) you want blocked.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What we do. Valid notices are triaged and the identified video IDs (and, where applicable, channels/playlists) are added to a block list so the converter refuses them; any matching cached file is purged. We aim to action complete notices within a short, defined SLA. Repeat infringers and abusive sources may be blocked outright.
Counter-notice. If you believe content was blocked in error, you may send a counter-notice with your contact details, identification of the blocked item, and a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
